Hello, my loves and welcome back. Today we will be exploring a makeup subscription box. I have never tried out the Sephora play box and I am excited to share my first experience with you. I have however tried several subscription boxes with no luck, I usually keep them for a few months and move on to something new.
The perks, I am obviously a Sephora lover! and with that comes loving Sephora products and their perk points, with every Sephora play box you receive a play card which is redeemed able for an extra 50 Sephora point with any in-store purchase, as well as an in-store free makeover/ product consultation.
Packaging, the box is presented beautifully with black and white striped packaging holding a white canvas bag with this month’s theme printed on it which is glow your own way. I opened the bag to find all of these lovely products.
In the box, there are 5 deluxe sized samples as well as a perfume sample. As you can see in the photo all of the samples are high end and are inclusive in the theme of glow.
Benefit Watt’s UP!
A cream to powder champagne highlighter, the formula is beautiful, creamy and buttery, unbelievably blendable and dries to a perfect powder.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
This product is a great primer if you have oily eyelids, it will lock down your shadow all day long however if you have dry eyelids like myself I recommend using concealer. If you do decide to test out this product I highly recommend setting it with a translucent powder before going in with your transition shade to enable better bendability, if you don’t it will make your eyeshadow very patchy.
GlamGlow Glowstarter Moisturizer
A natural illuminating moisturizer, it can be used a makeup primer, or just as a moisturizer. I love this product on my no makeup days, just a little bit of this and mac natural skin finish and I have a skin day from the heavens!
Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm
This lovely product can be used as a primer, part of your skin care, or in my favorite, as a subtle highlight on top of your makeup, in my case what I use to help enhance my highlighter.
Verb Ghost Oil
Those of you have been with my blog from the beginning know my hair struggles! I can seriously never get enough hydration in my hair. However, I am sorry to report that this oil made my hair soo greasy. Not at the roots, but all over, I used about a dime sized amount and started on my ends and work my way up my hair stopping at the ends of my shortest layer. For some reason, my hair had a hard time absorbing the oil. oh well, they can’t all be hits!
Thank you all so much for reading! I can also be found on my Instagram Staceybeth459. I love to hear from you so please feel free to comment!
