Sephora Play: Complexion Companions

Hello loves! Welcome back to my Blog. My Sephora Play review has become a staple post on my blog every month. Getting my box in the mail is truly one of the highlights of my month. It is so fun and something that I highly recommend. I know that there are going to be products that I love as well as others that may not work out for me.This theme is awesome because who doesn’t constantly try to improve their complexion. Our skin and face can always use improvement and that is what this months box is all about. It is about pore care as well as lightweight makeup products to help the appearance of our skin. Taking care of your skin is one of the most important things that we can go in terms of making sure that our makeup looks great. Here is the low down on this months box.

Makeup Forever HD Foundation: The thing I love about Sephora Play is that they truly take your skin tone and type in consideration. The shade matched me perfectly. I have tried this foundation before however, I have never chosen to purchase the full size. It retails at $43 for 1.01 oz.

Urban Decay Prep Priming Spray: I have never been a fan of priming sprays. I love the moisture that they add to my face, however, I just do not feel as if they change the longevity of my makeup. The spray feels nice on the face, however, it does leave the skin with a coating. It does blur pores a little, however not as much as the porefessional. This product is 4 oz and retails for $32. I personally will finish my sample, but I will not be purchasing a full sized product.

BareMinerals Mineral Veil: Back in the day this was my first foundation that my mom ever bought me. The powder has always been beautiful, however, I have never tried it as an adult. I was given the illuminating powder and it is so beautiful for baking. It leaves the skin flawless with the most subtle and beautiful glow. It retails at $23 for 8.5 grams. Equivalent to the travel size Laura Mercier Powder.

Sunday Riley C.E.O.: Rapid Flash Brightening Serum: This orange infused serum claims to be great for all skin types. It smells of oranges and feels similar to other Sunday Riley Oils. It melts beautifully into the skin making it feel refreshed and hydrated. When I use this product I do notice a difference in my under eye dark spots. Sunday Riley products have a high price tag this one is no different at $85 for 1 oz.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Pore Perfecting Exfoliator: I used my perk points a while back to get this product. You can say it was love at first scrub. I am a girl who needs a nitty gritty physical exfoliator. The unique thing about this product is that it is also a chemical exfoliator. Together it makes my skin feel amazing and baby soft afterward, but not stripped of moisture either. My dry skin is all about this product. It is $58 for 2 oz.

If I am being fully honest I did not have any products in this box that I absolutely hated. The only two that I would consider purchasing would be the foundation as well as the powder. As always I would love to know what you guys think of this months box. You can also find my on Instagram at staceybeth459. Much love to you! I will talk to you guys soon.
