My life has been go go go lately and I needed to take a moment for myself. I decided to be brave and try a juice cleanse. My sister has done plenty of them and has been my encouragement through this whole thing! Seriously my big sister is the best. I have been staring at the Suja one-day renewal cleanse for a while I have had the drinks before but never all in the same day. I never did them all in the same day because I get terribly grouchy if I do not eat. After looking further into it I realized that this cleanse is designed to be eaten with clean mini meals! Something that I can most definitely get on board with.
Things you need to know
- Make sure that you are drinking lots of water to help flush your system
- This cleanse is vegan! which is awesome!
- You may feel a bit tired the next day.
- I set aside a day to not do much for this event because I get extremely hangry.
- It is worth it!
I consider this to be like a facial for your face! Out with the old and in with the new. It will leave you feeling refreshed on a new level. Your body will thank you.
What I ate to accompany my drinks!
In the morning I ate a banana with peanut butter
The afternoon juice was followed by an avocado topped with pumpkin seeds
Dinner juice was followed by sauteed kale and zucchini
I loved this experience. The juice was actually rather delicious and I could feel my body being nourished in a new way. I didn’t get hangry at all which is weird for me.I feel as if the process is very manageable and not super crazy. Have you tried a juice cleanse? I would love to hear your thoughts!
